Faith Through Leukemia and Autism -
A Father's Journey

My Book

Honest, heartfelt, and deeply human, 25 Years on Borrowed Time is a story about resilience, faith, family, and discovering that even borrowed time can become a gift.

My Story

At thirty-seven years old, Steve Nalbandian received news that would forever change the course of his life: a diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. One year later, his young son Darren was diagnosed with autism.
What followed was a twenty-five-year journey through uncertainty, fatherhood, marriage, faith, perseverance, and learning how to keep moving forward when life rarely unfolds according to plan.
